Paul   : We have the mobility to use our laptops almost anywhere thanks to wireless Internet. 
Jaemin: To make a long story short, we live in the internet world.
Paul    : Nobody knows what's happening in the future.

Jaemin: 한국 4800만 인구의 70% 이상이 인터넷을 이용하고 있습니다.
Paul    : 무선 인터넷 덕분에 거의 모든 곳에서 노트북을 사용할 수 있게 되었습니다.
Jaemin: 간단히 말해서, 우리는 인터넷 세상에서 살고 있어요.
Paul    : 아무도 미래에 무엇이 일어날 지 알 수 없어요.

　‘To make a long story short’는 ‘한마디로 말해서’라는 뜻. “한마디로 말해서 모든 것이 잘 되었어요”는 “To make a long story short, everything worked well.”이다. “thanks to~”는 “~ 덕분에”라는 뜻. “열심히 공부한 덕에, 그는 시험에 통과했다”는 “Thanks to a lot of hard work, he has passed the test.”이다
