Paul : The house has an inconvenient layout.
Mike: You need to pay the price for living in the charming house.
Paul : 나는 담장 옆에 장미가 핀 근사한 시골집으로 이사했어. 근데 너무 할 일이 많아.
Mike: 당분간 너는 소매를 걷어붙이고 일을 해야 될 걸.
Paul : 그 집은 구조가 굉장히 불편해.
Mike: 그런 근사한 집에 살려면 대가를 치러야 돼.
‘get on with~’는 ‘~와 일치하다. 사이좋게 지내다’라는 뜻. “당신 아들은 학교에서 친구들과 잘 지냅니까?”는 “How does your son get on with his friends in school?”이다. “어영부영하지 말고 열심히 일을 해라”는 “Stop wasting your time and get on with your work.”이다.
