사무실에 종이컵이 떨어진 것 같아요.

　Paul  : I believe that the office has run out of the paper cups.
　Sarah: I'll get the general affair division to purchase some. Which are better, plastics cups or paper ones?
　Paul  : I think paper ones are better for recycling purpose.
　Sarah: OK. I'll tell them to get paper ones.

　Paul   : 사무실에 종이컵이 떨어진 것 같아요.
　Sarah: 총무부에 말해 구입하도록 하겠습니다. 플라스틱 컵과 종이컵 중 어느 것이 좋아요?
　Paul   : 종이컵이 재활용을 위해 나을 것 같아요.
　Sarah : 그러면 종이컵을 구입하도록 시키겠습니다.

　‘run out of~’은 ‘(사람이) ~을 다 써버리다’라는 뜻. “차 기름이 다 떨어져가요”는 “I've run out of gas.”이다. “다음 월급날이 아직 남았는데 벌써 돈이 다 떨어졌니?”라고 하려면  “Do you run out of money long before the next payday?”이다.
